Saturday morning started out early, and I was on the road by 5:30MST.
It was a beautiful, calm morning
I love the clouds we get here in the west. They just look different for some reason.

I drove miles and miles through some of America’s most valuable assets – agricultural land

My first stop was in Kit Carson, CO. I saw this “Observation Tower” and thought it was interesting. A website article I found said it is 35 feet tall and was built in the ’50s by a retired submarine welder. It was built about 21 miles away and then moved here.
