Change happens all around us every day. Technology advances in leaps and bounds, entire cities expand with a fury, and what was once familiar becomes new and unknown.

Living out in the country, time seems to pass at a slower pace. The prairie seems protected from the hustle and bustle of town. But then I realize this land has seen it’s fair share of changes, even in the last 50 years. It’s not all good, and it’s not all bad. Nevertheless, it is change.

Old and New

Old Meets the New

The good news is that we can control how we respond to change. We can choose how we act and react when it comes our way. It’s easy to focus on what we think we’re giving up and forget to look at what we might gain. Sometimes, all we need is a new perspective.

How about you…do you need to find a new angle to look at changes in your life?
